Bespoke to Hire
Commission a one-of-a-kind costume designed and made specifically for your project, with the option to hire rather than purchase outright if ownership is not required.
How It Works-
Submit an enquiry with details about your project, dates and requirements. This helps determine suitability, availability and whether bespoke hire is the right option for your needs.
-
If the project is a good fit, we’ll discuss the concept, budget, timeline and intended use. A design direction and quote will be provided, along with hire terms and damage cover options.
-
Once agreed, the costume is designed and constructed in-house.
Each bespoke to hire service allows up to 2 free design alterations before an additional fee applies.
Fittings may be arranged where appropriate to ensure comfort, movement and finish suitable for hire use.
-
The completed costume is supplied for the agreed hire period. Collection, return dates and care requirements will be confirmed in advance.
-
At the end of the hire period, the costume is returned and checked in line with the agreed terms. Any necessary cleaning, repairs or damage assessments are handled as outlined prior to hire.
What To Expect-
The design consultation is an opportunity to explore ideas, references and requirements, while ensuring the costume is practical, achievable and fit for purpose. This helps establish a clear design direction before making begins.
-
At this stage, the costume is professionally constructed with consideration given to its intended use, ensuring suitability without compromise to finish or detail.
-
The hire period is agreed in advance, with collection and return dates confirmed prior to hire. Clear care guidelines are provided to ensure the costume remains in good condition throughout the hire period.
-
Reasonable wear consistent with agreed hire use is considered standard wear and tear. Damage outside of this scope may be assessed in line with the agreed hire terms.
